GLYCOLIC ACID
An acid belonging to AHA family (alpha-hydroxy acids) that thanks to its small molecule can penetrate into dermis and stimulates fibroblasts promoting collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.
It performs a moisturizing action increasing glycosaminoglycans that retain water and avoid an excessive skin water dispersion. In addition it regulates sebum secretion eliminating the keratin cap located on the sebaceous follicle.
SALICYLIC ACID
An acid belonging to AHA family (alpha-hydroxy acids) that thanks to its small molecule can penetrate into dermis and stimulates fibroblasts promoting collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.
It performs a moisturizing action increasing glycosaminoglycans that retain water and avoid an excessive skin water dispersion. In addition it regulates sebum secretion eliminating the keratin cap located on the sebaceous follicle.
LACTIC ACID
An acid that induces cutaneous exfoliation accelerating the cell turnover. It stimulates the glucosaminoglycans synthesis, providing a brighter and more hydrated skin. Moreover, it decreases skin redness generating homogeneous melanin dispersion
BUTYL-RESORCINOL
Acts as a competitive tyrosinase inhibitor controlling the melanin biosynthesis in the epidermal melanocytes.
ARBUTIN
By hydrolysis, Arbutin frees non-toxic hydroquinone, a potent tyrosinase inhibitor useful in the treatment of skin discoloration. It is natural substance available in the leaves Ursin grape and Erica’s flowers
AZELAIC ACID
Dicarboxylic acid performs lightening, sebum balancing, dermopurifying
and antimicrobial action
AZAMIDE
Acts as an anti-bacterial adjuvant in the acne treatment, it also performs soothing and lightening action
ALPHA BISABOLOL
t is the main component of chamomile essential oil. It has soothing, calming, and anti-reddening properties.
VITAMIN C
Powerful antioxidant that rapidly penetrates into the skin and cell membranes, it helps to prevent skin aging.
HOW TO ACT ON THE STAINS
To protect the skin from UV rays and to provide superficial exfoliation, specific molecules have been used to inhibit the melanin synthesis that takes place in the melanocytes and/or antioxidants that interfere with melanogenesis processes
WHAT IS MELASMA?
Typical cutaneous hyperpigmentation due to hormonal causes that, in 90% of cases, affects women. It
is often extensive and irregular. In case of excessive hormonal treatments (during and after pregnancy),
soft treatments are recommended
